While in Tenerife, Callum took a call from the new coaching team at East Fife, informing him that they had arranged a loan for him at a West of Scotland league club for 24/25.
Since this was two leagues lower than where he had had a successful and mostly effective loan spell in 23/24, Callum felt that this loan deal was not right for him. He and East Fife agreed to terminate their contract by mutual consent.
